Hey there. This time we are going to show you a recipe for chicken tetrazzini. It is really simple and this will be great dish for the Easter table. You will need some sliced Cremini mushrooms, some chopped up onions, shredded chicken, white cheddar, spaghetti, chopped onion, Italian seasoning, butter, white wine, all purpose flour, chicken stock, milk, heavy cream, cream cheese, Parmigiano, frozen peas, salt, pepper and some bread crumbs.



To prepare this dish, you will need a Dutch oven. First, put butter in the oven, melt it and once it’s completely melted, put mushrooms and onions in it. Cook it for 7 minutes, heat should be medium height. Use salt and all the liquids will come out of the mushrooms. Keep stirring for 7-8 minutes. It should change color to brown, add a little salt and some white wine. Let it cook for couple of minutes and add some garlic and stir it again. Let it cook for 30 seconds and add some flour. It is going to thicken it up and it will give the sauce a beautiful texture. Give it a stir for about 30 seconds and make sure that there are no bits of raw flour.

Now add some chicken stock and some milk. Stir it a bit and add Italian seasoning. Let the mixture boil for 7 to 8 minutes. Before it boils, you are going to cook spaghetti in a different oven, break it in half and boil it for 7 minutes. After it’s cooked, run it under some cold water. Now back to our mixture, once it’s all boiled, add some cream cheese. Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature and it will mix in better. Now add chicken and peas to the sauce. Put Parmigiano and white cheddar. Now mix it really good.

Once pasta is ready, put it in the sauce and mix it again. Make sure it is equally mixed and once you are done with that, put the whole mixture in a casserole dish. Once it’s in the dish, put some fresh bread crumbs on the top and butter cubes. This will give the dish a golden brown color. Put it in the oven and let it bake for 30 minutes. Once it’s done, let it cool down for 5 minutes and that’s it, your homemade chicken tetrazzini, Enjoy!
